Having been used to a doctor's surgery where you had to literally stand outside and queue each time you needed an appointment (and know if you were tenth or more in line you would be unsuccessful) it is very refreshing to be able to call, get an immediate answer, be able to book appointments both online and in advance over the telephone and have receptionists who genuinely listen and are efficient without being rude. The doctors themselves (I have met 3 so far from the practice) have a good bedside manner, collect you personally from the waiting area and deal with your issues in a sympathetic and professional way. The surgery is clean, fresh and light, with a chemist downstairs should you need it. Parking is free (if a little crowded).

The appointment was 40mins late, but my GP Dr Parker was very good. More staff are needed to answer calls, make appointments and as always more GP's would be great, especially with the same kind, calm and thorough examination undertook by Dr Parker.

I have been with this Surgery for nearly 3 years and never once have I had cause to be unhappy. This is a first rate Practice, with very caring staff from the receptionists to the doctors. It is an extremely busy practice. I have always been able to get an emergency appointment when it was necessary. I have no problem getting an appointment to see the doctor I wish to see, if they are very booked you are offered an alternative. Sometimes you do have to wait, however, this is because the staff are thorough giving you the time you need. They care about you, you are not just one of their patients! There are also telephone appointments available, which is really good, speaking either to a nurse or doctor. Plus they do have evening appointments. I always think if appointments are running slightly late, then someone is quite poorly and needs more time! I have needed extra time spending on occasions. So a little patience for waiting is also great for the patients! I can only say I am so grateful that this Practice is there for me. I am disabled and there is ample parking outside, plus lifts. I use my boot scooter to access the facility and there is good wheelchair access. There are also good clean toilet facilities. There are other doctors practices at this surgery, plus a lot of other services are run from there. There is also a chemist on the ground floor which is also really good.
